Green Valley Cemetery
Located about 3 miles NE of Pleasanton, Linn, KS
SW 1/4 Sec 18 TWP21 Rg25

Land originally owned by John and Minerva Baugh. On Sept, 09, 1879 they deeded these two acres to the "Green Valley Graveyard Association" for the sum of $20.00. It had previously been used as a family burial ground for a grandson who died in 1864, and a daughter who died in 1866. The Baugh's also owned the land on which the Green Valley School was built, just west of the cemetery. Deeding it to Dist #45 in 1869
